...and probably my first colored background ever.
I see a lot of flaws in this pic, but it is a HUGE step for me. I'll hold it dear.
I've never studied perspective or composition (I haven't had the pleasure to attend an art school yet, for that matter), and I'm sure it shows. What can I say, I tried.

This is my third picture for Round 2: the battle scene. The Gym Leaders + Nikera and Liam will appear in Part 1 and 2.
Me and Sticky decided to choose two Pokémon that match in type, but whose looks and personalities are perfect opposites.
Raisa the Roserade and Shamshir the Nidoking are a toxic version of the beauty and the beast: she's human-looking, elegant and beautiful, he's feral, hairy and muscular- they complete each other.
Both have poison running through their veins, but while Shamshir is rough and beastly, Raisa is a joy for the eyes .

"The weather will be Partly Cloudy, at noon ~ Sunshine and gentle breezes prevailing".
I'm glad the admins are being so accurate. This information forced me to work with light and color in a certain way.
Do you get the sensation of "sunshine and gentle breeze"? If yes, do the Pokémon look ferocious even if the colors are all happy and bright? That's what I tried to do and I'm very concerned about the result. Did I succeed?
I worked on it so much I can't even judge now :/ Critiques and suggestions are always welcome. You don't need to be nice

I will submit Part 1 tomorrow and Part 2 in a couple days.
...You guys have no idea what I've been through in the last few days. Let's just say it's literally a miracle if I'm posting this stuff.
